Mid-drives are ideal for off-road, sport cycling and longer distances. Their assembly is carried out in the frame instead of the pedal center, thus maintaining the optimal center of gravity and riding characteristics are not limited in any way. This is also one of the reasons why it will be easy for you to ride with the mid-drive after discharging the battery. The advantage is their low weight: 250W, 750W - 3.6 kg, 1000W - 6.6 kg. You can make full use of the torque of the mid-drive thanks to the combination of the chainring and the rear derailleur.
The advantage of hub-drives is that power is affected by battery voltage. If you buy a battery with a voltage of 36 V, the power of the motor will be 500 W. This power is suitable for light cycling and riders up to 90 kg. If you connect a 48 V battery to the hub-drive, the power will automatically increase to 750 W. The 750 W and 1000 W mid-drives operate at 48 V. They are suitable for heavier riders or more demanding cyclists who require more acceleration and like higher speeds. These motors are ideal, for example, for fast ascents of steep hills. If you want to ride more on all ebikes and use it as a means of transport, these higher-power drives are a good choice.
If the frame battery fits on the frame instead of the bottle holder, we recommend this type of battery and carry the bottle on a seatpost for example. The location in the middle of the bike will guarantee you a comfortable ride and an optimal center of gravity. You only need a space 2 cm in front of and above the battery to slide the battery out of the holder. Thanks to this, it also fits into 15 "frames.
You can place the bag battery according to your own needs. With the help of strong velcro, you can easily attach it to the upper frame and seat tube. You can also place it on a carrier or on a special carrier under the saddle. This type of battery is often used for fully sprung wheels, where it is not possible to attach the battery to the frame, but it is carried in a backpack with a cable to connect the motor.
Carrier batteries are most often installed on women's and city bikes. The carrier is height-adjustable and is therefore suitable for various wheel sizes. The disadvantage of this battery is its weight, the rear part of the wheel will load you by 6.2 kg.
All batteries have a built-in protective BMS module, which protects them from discharge or undercharging, and which corrects the charging current to each cell. Thanks to this balancing module, it does not matter whether you charge the batteries with a 2A or 5A charger. The cells are not charged 5 A all the time, before full charging the charging current is reduced and the cells are balanced. The c500 display is the smallest display in our offer. It has a color display and a 2.2 "diagonal. It is the only one placed on the left side of the handlebars. It is a perfect choice for folding bikes or bikes where you need to have a bag or navigation in the middle of the handlebars.
The C965 LCD display allows the motor power to be divided into assistance stages 0-3, 0-5 or 0-9. As the only display for mid-drives, it also shows the ambient temperature. It has a smaller 2.9" vertical display and a built-in sensor for automatic display backlight. You can easily control it with your thumb on the left side of the handlebars.
