4 pieces of high-capacity industrial lithium cells with a capacity of 150 Ah (480 Wh) and high energy density. Only plus temperature range, no-frost, flat M6 terminals. After 3000 cycles the capacity drop is 20%, after 6000 cycles the capacity drop is 40%. The lifespan of the cells is 15 years, they have an aluminum cover and an operating temperature of 0 to +50°C. They provide high currents at peak discharge (2 C, 300 A) and high power up to 1.5 C (225 A discharge). Cells can be stored at -20 to + 50°C.

WHY LIFEPO4?

LiFePO4 technology is called the technology of the future. These are a type of lithium cells that are composed of lithium, iron and phosphate. The biggest benefits include:
  • stability and safety - it is the safest type of lithium cell, there is no risk of spontaneous combustion, fire or explosion
  • long service life - withstands thousands of charge and discharge cycles without a significant drop in capacity

Operating instructions

  • The cells must be fully charged before first use
  • The first charge is carried out with a low current at max.0.5 C - i.e. 75 A for a 150 Ah cell
  • Cell terminals must be protected from dirt, damage and short circuits
  • Cells must be monitored and protected against deep discharge and overcharge
  • Charging and discharging must be done under supervision

Initial charge

The cells are pre-charged to 30-50% from the manufacturer. Before the first use, the cells must be charged with a low current. When charging multiple cells for the first time, connect them in parallel and the charger outputs should be connected to both ends of the parallel rows of cells. We recommend using chargers specially designed for LiFePO4 cells. The first charge and initial balancing of the entire set is an important step in achieving long-term service life.
